Can you tell your brie from your blue just by looking at a font? Your typographic taste buds will be tingling as you become a cheesy font connoisseur. The Spin the Wheel of Cheese game is a cheese tasting for your eyes and imagination.

The Spin the Wheel of Cheese game was created for an in-person event last Summer. Visitors spun the wheel to be served up a random cheesy font. They described what they thought their cheese would taste like from the look of the font and rated how much they’d enjoy eating it.

This prompted such funny conversations, lively differences of opinion and fascinating insights into just how much a font communicates about the word it spells out.

Playing a game like this is a great way to talk to real people about how fonts make them feel. It opens the conversation in a way that includes everyone — often to looks of surprise when someone discovers they have a strong opinion about the taste of a particular font.
